Upload two Excel files and quickly see what changed between them.

Upload Excel files

Your files stay on your device.

File A

Earlier or baseline file

File B

Newer or comparison file

How to compare two Excel files

  1. Upload two .xlsx files.
  2. Choose the worksheet from each file.
  3. Select the shared key column that identifies each row.
  4. Compare and review new, missing, and changed records.

How the key column works

The key column is the value TulHive uses to match records across both worksheets, such as an ID, SKU, email, or account number.

Practical uses

Compare monthly reports, master data, store or location lists, inventory files, fixture counts, and other operational datasets.

Reading the results

New records exist only in File B, missing records exist only in File A, changed records have matching keys with different field values, and no changes means compared fields match.

Changed field details

Changed records show the key value, each changed field, the File A value, and the File B value.

FAQ

What is the key column?

It is the column that identifies the same record in both files. Pick a shared column with unique, non-empty values.

Can TulHive show exactly which cells changed?

Yes. Changed records include an audit-style list of changed fields with File A and File B values.

Are my Excel files uploaded?

No. This tool reads and compares .xlsx files directly on your device.

What happens with multiple worksheets?

TulHive lists the worksheets in each file so you can choose the sheets to compare.
